AI Renaissance 2025
AI Renaissance is a small, curated unconference on the political economy of AI, organised by Metagov with the support of the royal family of Schaumburg-Lippe at Bückeburg Palace, an hour outside Hanover. Some thirty-five researchers, builders, entrepreneurs, politicians, and artists spend a week and a half challenging each other’s assumptions and building new infrastructure, business models, and institutions for public, open-source, and decentralised AI. I took part in the 2025 edition — the same circle of people with whom the Airbus for AI policy brief took shape.
